Anne worked with my 6 year-old daughter to support her in ending her thumb sucking habit.  As I witnessed Anne work through this with my daughter, I was so amazed and began to wonder if she could be of help to me, as I have been desperate to stop a life-long nail biting habit.  Anne graciously accepted the challenge and showed me a tremendous amount of compassion and enthusiasm as I worked through my habit.  Her approach was unique and individualized and she provided me tools that I never had access to in the countless times that I have tried to stop this habit in my lifetime.  I am so proud to say that it has been 4 months since I committed to stopping and my nails have never looked so beautiful.  Anne has a gift.  At 40 years old, I have FINALLY stopped biting my nails!

Anne was referred to us by our dentist to help our 6 year-old daughter with her thumb sucking habit.  From the moment we met her, my daughter felt completely at ease with Anne.  Anne has amazing listening skills and really "saw" our daughter and worked to understand her individual situation.  Our daughter loved sucking her thumb, so this was incredibly challenging for her to begin the program, but Anne was extremely supportive.  She was firm where she needed to be, but also compassionate and helped to ease the anxiety for all of us.   Anne's program is simple, but extremely effective.  It seemed like magic.  At the end of the program, our daughter was so proud of her accomplishment and it has opened up a whole new world for her now that she doesn't suck her thumb.  I would recommend Anne without hesitation!

Anne has worked with my family for the past seven years on several different occasions. First, she helped my daughter correct myriad speech articulation errors from the time she was three to when she entered kindergarten. She also helped my daughter stop sucking her thumb in a way that was both developmentally appropriate and gentle. Later, she worked with my son on both articulation and myofunctional coordination and strengthening.  Simply put, Anne is the best. She really sees children for who they are, what they need, and how they can be motivated. She's constantly researching different approaches to engage the whole brain in this learning process.
